so the boys made a spontaneous decision to join me in salzburg for some days to get some fresh country air.
we started the day off with a little hike to irrsberg
we found some military stuff going on

what do we have here? a very rare and shy species of a florian with a flower!
and a flying krisp! be warned: they attack from the side!
later on we had food. folded dumplings with sauerkraut. i gotta try to make them on my own soon.

on the next day we checked out hallstatt
new day, new hike
steep it was (at least for me)
looks like the emperor was involved in some salt mining
but there was not too much time for stopping, cause klaus was in charge to get us up that mountain
we made it! finally! and i have to admit i was a little proud.
on our way down we passed waterfalls
we also passed this sign saying “through hell”
about that: guess the horror movie
yeah right. creeeeepy!
a graveyard you ask yourself? no, no one died on the way down, rest assured.
we went to see the charnel house
but not only morbid things can be found in hallstatt. pretty boats as well!
flo made friends with a cat
and p with a swan
at least kind of. the swan left. pissed, like swans are most of the time.
in the evening, we had a barbecue outside. we nearly killed ourselves by an overdose of smoke coming from the fireplace. unfortunately i didn´t take pictures on that event.
next day: it was grandma´s 80ieth birthday! partey!
that´s how people celebrate back home. with lots and lots of food.
my uncle wanted to take a picture of us. we were too lazy to disagree.
and sunday was nice.
