It’s been a while since our Mexico trip. You might find some pictures familiar – that’s cause we went to places, where we’ve been before. No sightseeing, just relaxing this time.
Landed in Cancun and strolled around while waiting for our ferry
The place where we stayed in Isla Mujeres looks pretty normal from the outside. Once you enter the door, you beg to differ..
Our room was pretty perfect too
The cat of the house was called Bruno. He looked like a Jaguar.
On a good day, you could see Cancun on the horizon.
The best way to explore the island is by golf cart.
Can you spot the iguanas?
After a few days in Isla Mujeres, we have planned to visit Tulum again. It’s such a nice place to hang out, eat good food and unwind and it’s easy to reach by bus. Tulum is also known for its pristine crystal clear Caribbean beaches. Unfortunately, nature does not always act the way you want it to and so we were greeted by a lot of sargassum seaweed.
Like, quite a bit.
so we had to opt for a pool at some point
And the food delicious as can be (ZAMAS HUEVOS RANCHEROS!)
After some days, the beach like we knew it came back!
And the food was still good.
as well as the mescal
Martin got a donkey
but traded it for a drink
A visit to Tulum town
the food was still spicy
Separated at birth
i would like to own a bungalow
Martin doing the Leonardo di Caprio walk
Me doing the posing with my new coqui coqui bag
And suddenly it was time to leave. (If you look close enough, you can see Venus right next to the moon)
Back to Cancun
Back to real life
