on the way to merida, there is a little city called valladolid. we thought we check it out for one day and arrived in the afternoon.
this was the place we stayed for the night. looks nice don´t you think? you are wrong! it was loud, the mattress was incredibly hard and uncomfortable, and the bathroom smelled weird. it was not a relaxing night, that´s for sure!

it´s so sunny, even the horses wear hats
we were told there was a party going on. so we checked it out.

it´s really funny: it was a little cloudy but still really really warm and the people wear jackets
they also had cows checking each other out
female was hard to get
we didn´t go to this bar – even though it sounded promising
this is not a tuna steak. it´s grilled watermelon with cheese. that explains martin´s puzzled look on his face.
on the next morning, we visited a really nice place for breakfast. the oranges literally fall of the trees here.
i had a really great juice and a sandwich with cheese, refried beans, tomatoes and cucumbers.
afterwards: some more exploring
the sideways are narrow
and the balconies really low
all in all it was a nice place to visit and it´s worth a day trip (as long as you don´t stay in the place we stayed)
